OnCourse Consulting, LLC provides training and education to business leaders and management personnel. Our primary area of expertise is fixed operations within the automotive industry. We focus on improving customer relationships and increasing productivity which positively impacts overall performance of service parts, and body shop departments within the dealership environment.
David Linton has worked in the automotive industry for more than 50 years. He began his career in his father's auto parts store, then moved on to a dealership where he progressed from the parts department through both the service department and body shop before becoming General Manager.
When the dealership was sold, he joined a small consulting firm where he worked directly with clients in their dealerships to improve customer relationships, productivity, and profitability. He also spent a great deal of time teaching in a seminar format and conducted training for a variety of manufacturers. After his retirement from that company, David and his wife, Karen, decided to launch their own consulting firm which would allow him to continue to share his expertise in the industry while developing new ideas and exciting ways to improve the dealership experience.
David has worked with most of the major manufacturers as well as individual clients throughout the United States and Canada. His experience is extensive and varied, which aides him in creating a program that is custom designed to meet the individual needs of a client.
